The shared kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and grilling, even allowing for fireside soup-making. The cleanliness of both the rooms and common areas, including the WC and shower, was exceptional. Our private house provided the ultimate privacy, nestled amidst the trees. Kids will love the swings and slide, while adults can enjoy the sauna and refreshing jumps into the river. Boasting a charming atmosphere and top-notch hospitality, this hidden gem offers a serene getaway with beautiful lake views. The lodge even has a boat for a romantic ride. Although the forest road can be uneven, it adds to the adventure. The lodge is dog-friendly, and extras like the sauna and hot tub make for a truly memorable stay. Free parking, outdoor dining, picnic areas, jacuzzi, electric kettle. Pets are allowed, and there are non-smoking rooms for those who prefer.

The location of the lodge, near the wonderful town of Lielvārde, was also a major plus. The room itself was exceptional, with a comfortable bed and a good coffee maker. The shared kitchen space was a nice addition, and there were plenty of exciting things to discover on the grounds, including many gorgeous winding walking paths through the woods.

Our room at Lodge "Ezisa Midzina" had a private bathroom with a shower. It was clean, modern, and had good water pressure. We really enjoyed having our own bathroom, especially with two small kids. It made our stay much more convenient.

While the room was wonderful, we found that the fireplace produced a bit too much heat for our liking. It made the room quite warm, and we had to open a window to cool it down.

We enjoyed the peacefulness of our stay, especially since we were the only guests during the autumn time and in the middle of the week. the typical Latvian sauna was a great addition, although it could be a bit small for larger groups.
